[Kenwood] Interesting Choices - 850 vs 870

An interesting choice has presented locally between a TS-870 versus a TS-850.  Both units for sale are in very good condition from the same individual.  The 850 has the DSP-100 option plus a full complement of filters onboard (i.e, the narrow SSB and both 500hz CW filters0.  Consequently, the price for each is nearly the same.  Comparing reviews and preferences for both verifies each is excellent in its own way.  I'm leaning a bit towards the 850 simply for the versatility of the crystal filters supplemented with the DSP-100.  I would appreciate comments from those with direct experience to assist in the choice.  Currently using a TS-940SAT with all mods as a basis for comparision.  Thanks!   Ron K0OXB
