Larry,
I have an 870 and got the SO2 when i bought it. This was in 2004. I
went through all my manuals for the rig and found the SO2 "manual"
B50-8314-08(M)(T). There isn't much to it. It consists entirely of
two 3 x 5 inch pieces of onion skin paper, one for English the other in
Japanese, with the following on it:
TCXO UNIT Kenwood Corporation
SO-2
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
SPECIFICATIONS
Oscillating frequency: 20 MHz Frequency stability (Long term): +- 1 x
10**-6/year
Temperature stability: +- 5 x 10**-7 (-10 deg. C ~ + 50 deg.C)
Output: 1V peak to peak (20 k Omega//5pF)
INSTALLATION
1. For installation, a phillips screwdriver and soldering iron is
required.
2. Before installation, be sure to disconnect the power cord.
3. For the installation procedure, refer to the instruction manual
provided with each model.
That's it Larry. I was pretty sure I never saw a complete separate SO2
manual when I put mine in, except for what was in the 870 manual, but
wanted to be sure and this confirms it. You're gg to have to get a
manual for your kenwood rig.
