I happened to have my old TR-9130 out on top of my later TS-680S; and after
noticing how much darker the 9130 is, dragged it over to compare with my
TS-130S. And whaddaya know: ALL THREE radios are different shades. The 9130
is darkest, the 130 close to what I'd call gunmetal gray, and the 680 is
lightest and almost a metallic medium dark gray. The 680 also uses chrome
screws in the case whereas both the 130/9130 use dark gray, almost black,
screws.

And no, I don't know where to get the paint, either. There was someone on
xXxx who advertised it but I didn't save his username. You'd have to look
at all the Kenwood ads to find the guy, I guess. And I've no idea whether
he just happened to have several cans to get rid of, or if he is in the biz
of providing the paint. Nor, of course, which shade his paint is  ;o(
