There is a function in the extended function menu that
puts the tuner into non-stop mode. Cannot see why anyone
would want to do this, except maybe for testing.

To access this extended function menu, press SCAN and
TX-M.CH and power up the radio.

The M.CH/VFO CH knob scroll through the 8 functions in
this menu.

You want menu item 03. Set it to OFF.
