[Kenwood] 6146A in TS-830S ?

A previous similar question about finals for a TS-520 received comments 
from several hams that are using 6146W or 6146A etc to good result.

Judging from your experience with new 6146B's I'd try for NOS "new old 
stock" GE or RCA 6146B's but I'd leave the current tubes in service 
until they need replacement. That may be many years of service.

The "A" tubes do have less plate dissipation then the "B" so I'd be a 
little more careful when tuning.
