I have an original 570D and had a similar problem. I discovered that 
menu 33, Level, was the problem. I had to turn the radio on, go to the 
menu33, toggle it to another value, say from 2 to 1 and then back to 2, 
and then it would output correctly and would do so as long as the radio 
was on, but as soon as it was turned off, the next time it came on it 
would need to be toggled in order to work. I have never found anyone 
else with this problem and there is nothing else wrong with the radio. 
Hope this helps, and if there is a wiring work around for this I'd love 
to know.
