[Kenwood] DSP Speakers/Aftermarket products

Mike -- I'm using the ClearSpeech Base DSP made by Am-Com (they MAY  
have gone out of biz and Heil may be doing their stuff now???) and it  
works very well on SSB to clean up the trash.  The signal you're  
listening to can't really be "down in the mud" or it gets lost....the  
other thing is that it takes some getting used to when listening to  
the "cleaned up" audio as it's not as natural as with it off.  Those  
who have spoken over the older secure phones in the military or  
government will recognize the effect.  But it's been useful to the  
point where copying a SSB signal would have been difficult and  
switching the unit in makes all the difference.

Don't have any real experience using it with digital/CW....sure  
others may chime in with their experiences.
