[Kenwood] SKY COMMAND SETUP?

I just got a TM-D700A and I have a TS-2000. Been trying to get SKYCOMMAND to
work without much luck. The TX from the 700 to the 2000 seems to work but
can get no receive. Also the only function I seem to have is the RX HF comes
on but no receive. Also can make display the present info by pushing the on
the mic. Been working through dummy loads trying to get it all ready for
December 15th. Any help is much appreciated.
