A local ham here where I live contacted me that he would like to get back 
into the hobby and he is looking for a good dual band radio that is not to 
complicated to operate, etc.

He prefers a mobile radio that will take a power supply.

He had a stroke abt 3 yrs ago and wants something pretty simple, but with 
some good features
