I'll second what Bill, W4ZV, says ref serial numbers before 210xxxx.
I have this early model, many problems with the PLL - mostly because of 
failed solder joints on the digital board & on that part of the VCO 
which is on the signal board.
There are quite a few changes made after #310xxxx.
If the one you've been offered is a later version, grab it. If its the 
earlier one, be prepared for more work!
A Google of 'TS930' will bring you a lot of info.
