[Kenwood] TS-480 remote access

I haven't tried those programs, but in general, VoIP uses UDP packets to 
xmit the audio, and you have to make sure that your router on both ends 
allow for the passage of those packets. The may also use one or more TCP 
ports for control of the VoIP.

Look in the Kenwood literature to see if they say anything about which 
UDP port(s) is used for the connection. You will have to set the router 
to allow passage of traffic on that port(s). The setup will be in an 
area of the router setup called "port forwarding". You can also place 
your laptop and PC in the "DMZ", or just turn off the firewall 
completely to find out if this is your problem.
