My immediate reaction was that, since these are used for the
SM220/BS8, the output would be before the filters. A quick look at
the TS830 service manual confirms this. IFO1 is taken directly in
front of CF1, the ceramic filter which precedes the Xtal Filters.
IFO2 is post detector.
