[Kenwood] Kenwood IF output

I have a question for the group, on Kenwood HF radios that have a IF 
output connector on the back of the radio, is that output before or 
after the radio's filters?

I have several older Kenwood's and I would like to hook up a homemade 
panoramic adapter to see what is going on around the frequency that 
I'm tuned at.

I have the following Kenwood radios;

TS-820
TS-830
TS-930
TS-940

In case that makes a difference, I'm hoping that the IF output 
connector is before the filter so I can display what signals are 
before and after my band-pass.
