[Kenwood] TS850 SAT Failure

I have just experienced a failure of my KW ts850-sat.
I was monitoring the 160 meter band and was about to join a QSO in progress,
so I set the external ant tuner to the proper settings and set the internal
tuner and all was well.
I was able to make contact once and then there was no power output. I
checked out the rig into a known dummy load and there was no output. I
checked the internal tuner and the scale went to the end and would not budge
although its motors would drive for a few seconds then stop.
I reset the processor and checked out all setting but to no avail. I also
experienced the same results on all bands.
As I am not a tech I would ask if any one that has experienced this problem
if they could provide any suggestions so that I could give them to my tech
to give him some direction.
