[Kenwood] TS850 freq. Transmit changes for marine use

FCC regs are quite clear. During a Coast Guard inspection if you have a
license displayed you'd better have a type accepted radio to go with it.
Your Ham ticket does not give you authority to transmit in the marine band.
Of course, in a stated emergency you may use whatever means you have at
your disposal.
Power: I belive is either 25 watts or 100, I don't remember.
NETS: A marine ham net on ham frequency's has absolutely nothing to do with
a transmission in the marine frequency range. There are NO nets held in
the marine bands.
BTW: Modifying any radio to transmit outside the certification range (other
than MARS) is most certainly illegal.
