[Kenwood] FW: [SCCC] Kenwood date codes

I had sent this reply and was wondering why the question was asked again
right away.  Turns out the first message I saw was So Cal Contest Club list,
not Kenwood list....

First digit less 2 = year [7-2=5, 1995 [or 1985]], next two digits month
[May], the rest a serial number [22nd built that month].
