[Kenwood] D700A & Garmin GPS III question

Bill,

The cable you want will plug in to the garmin, but will have no
connectors on the other end. You then can put your own "cigar lighter"
plug on, and then attach the cable that came with your D700 to the
remaining 2 wires, I bought my cable at FRY's. I would suspect that
they still carry them, My GPS is a GPS V and I think it uses the same
conector as the III (round with 4 pins) After you find the cable, if
you ask I will crawl under my dash and see what color wires I
connected to what!
