Dick, I picked up a copy cable off eBay for the TM-271A. It's sold as
equivalent to the Kenwood KPG-4 but works fine in place of the KPG-46.
Suggest that's what you get. If you want to make one, a 6 way RG45 will do
fine for the mic plug, the outer 2 ways on the 8 way plug aren't connected -
but frankly they're so cheap it's not worth the bother...
