I'm not real familiar with the Astron supplies, so I need to ask:

What's the difference between the A and the M models ?  
Is the noisy one (M) a "switcher" ?

One thing that might make a _marginal_ difference would be to bypass
the rectifier diodes with something like a .01 1KV ceramic disc cap.

Try also bypassing the output of the supply to chassis with the same
capacitors.

Perhaps it's "conducted" noise, back into the power line ?
CORCOM (and others) make packaged line filters that might help.

Pete, I think you are talking about something completely different...
seems that your problem was acoustic coupling, I think Rob is talking
about actual radiated noise?
