[Kenwood] TS-570DG w/AL-80B Using the ARB -702

Greetings one and all,
I've been running the AL-80B with the  external Ameritron amplifier interface buffer model ARB-702 with no external DC power on the buffer for a few years now with no problems. I don't think they offer this model buffer, but AES has the newer version. 
The boat anchors do not need the interface. Another reason I love going retro.....I just crank down the gain on the 820 and the TR-4 when driving the 80B so as to avoid clipping and splatter which I learned the hard way when I first got the amp.
