I overpaid for one. Makes a nice paper weight.If you do not get the cable 
with the box, your toast. I will buy a third party one. I like the ones with that 
have an opto isolator. The converter for 9pin rs-232 to Usb is nothing 
special to pay big bux for.

  Radio xxxxxxx has one for $50.
 I do not know of any safe way to get the ts-850's serial stream above 4800.
Has anyone over clocked a Ts-850?
