Thanks to all for the help. I was trying to figure out why my D-7A(G) wouldn't work with the program. Turns out the manual shows 2 of the 3 wires for the programming cable reversed. The ground is correct. When I rewired the cable, everything worked fine. I love a story with a happy ending. 73, Steve
