I would like to thank everybody for their input on this rig. However I may have forgotten to ask one important question. My main operations will be HF. The other bands are not so important. And a dual VFO... How cares. Of course I'm always looking for the best bang for the buck. And who isn't these days. I have read all the e.ham reviews about this rig. And one person pointed out this... What is the rig going to be used for primarily? And so with that in mind. How is this rig on HF? Does all those IF/AF DSP filters really work? And of course the notch filters are important too. Does it actually remove the tone noises so I can hear what people on the band are saying? I find that the rigs with all the bands thrown in usually have shitty filters and have no manual notch's on them. I have down loaded the brochure on the rig and like the fact that it doesn't require any additional filters and has a auto and manual notch. But we all know it's better to get real input from people who actually own the radio. If I'm going to get a good base rig, I'm going to do it right the first time. This one will have to last for a longtime.
So to everyone on this reflector. Have a good Xmas and New Year.

Hart
