[Kenwood] Is at-250 r.f. sensing?

Hi Mark,

I had one of those briefly a few years ago, so my memory
is not highly reliable. But, my recollection is that the interface cable is 
necessary for automatic operation. I also recall that it is only plug and 
play with the TS430/130 and maybe TS440. I don't recall a DIN output on the 
830/530s that was the same. There is a manual at www.mods.dk , but even with 
that I had to experiment some to get it going with the TS430. I would not 
purchase one with the intent of using it with the TS830. Although it might 
be easier than I think. I've long since moved to radios with internal 
autotuners.
