Kenwood items for sale:

Kenwood BC-1 AC adapter
My memory says that this is the adapter that is used with the
TR-9000 and TR-9130 multimode 2 meter rigs, and also maybe
other rigs like the TR-7730 and TR-7800, and rigs of that era, to
provide memory back up when the main power supply was
turned off. I think it might also have been used as a charger for
some rigs. It has the strange 3 conductor plug on it that is about
3/8 inch, and five sided, with the 3 contacts arranged like a triangle.
Output is 14 V DC at 150 ma. This one works fine, and looks
like it is new, although it obviously has a few years on it. $20

Kenwood SMC-25 speaker mic
Fits TR-2500 and that series of HTs, and maybe others. $20

Kenwood DC-21
This unit is used on the TH-21 / 31 / 41 series of HTs. It has
an adapter that slides on in place of the battery, plus a
conversion unit that plugs into the cigarette lighter on one end
and the battery adapter on the other. $25

Kenwood MC-42 S hand microphone
This is the "standard" microphone that came with many of the
rigs that take the round 8 pin mic connector. It has "up" and
"down" switches, as well as the normal PTT switch. This
particular MC-42 is in very nice condition. $ 35

Small hand mic that came with the Drake TR-72
and TR-2200 A. It has the standard 4 pin plug wired
for Drake/Kenwood, and is a 500 ohm mic. This one says
Drake on it, but it is the same as the Kenwood microphone.
No model number on it, but it looks close to new, and
works fine. $30

Kenwood MC-48, touch tone (DTMF) microphone.
Round, 8 pin connector, will go with any Kenwood rig
taking this kind of connector. Has UP and DOWN
switches, along with 16 digit touchtone pad. It is often used
on the 2 m and 440 MHz rigs that do not have touchtone
built in, but can also be used on HF rigs for TT on 10 m
FM. It works fine and looks great also. $ 50

W09-0334 Wall charger for TH-21 / 31 / 41 series HTs
Like about 95% of these chargers, this one has the "ear"
on it broken, but can be used fine with a rubber band. $12

Wrist strap for TH-21 / 31 / 41 and likely other HTs $ 2

RA-8 Stubby Rubber duck antenna
This is for a TH-21 series 2 meter HT, with the threaded
connector. Good condition for $10

Kenwood full size 2 meter rubber duck antenna
BNC connector $10

Antenna adapter to fit the BNC connector on the HT
and provide an SO-239 connector that will permit
a PL-259 to be attached. $5

Kenwood EP-1 ear phone
Used on almost all Kenwood HTs. Like new. $4

Prices do not include shipping from Florida.

Thanks.

73,

Ken, W8EK

I'm running a TS870s, now my question is, has anyone been able to make
Ham Radio Deluxe work with the TS870?
The PSK31works just find, no problems there, but when I try to connect
with the radio part of it, I come up with a error, do not know what the
error is,
it will say that Ham Radio Deluxe has caused a error, and then it shuts
down the program..
I am using this on a IBM laptop, and using ME as the software..

If any one has success in getting it to work, please let me know, been
trying for some time now..

Thanks in advance..

Hi Roland

I have just recently tried HRD with my 870. Worked fine once I got PC and
radio talking to each other - just had to match comms speeds of both
devices. PC is Pentium lll 500Mhz laptop with Win 98.

Regards
Brian Gi4BTG

Doug,
I guess you are referring to the TH27A? I had the same
problem and it was the tiny audio PCB which I had fixed by
Kenwood. DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH IT! They screwed it up
terribly and charged me $100. It would be hard to fix
yourself though, unless you have good eyes and SMD
experience. The parts can be replaced with generic.
Good luck and 73, Dick KF4NS

Has any one discovered the cause of the sudden loss of
receive audio
on the 27A. It appears the demodulator and squelch cct are
working
but the audio is failing after that.
