Thanks very much Wally for the timely info. The original Microphone on my
TMV7A just quit working, broken arm on the switch and the unprotected plug
RJ 45 with the securing clip broken. The thoughts of changing the plug was
like a nightmare.

Hello to the group. I wanted to pass along a great deal I found on a Kenwood
MC-45DM DTMF Mic I found at R & L Electronics. These mics fit older and new
Kenwood radios with the RJ-45 connector. They are discontinued now but
retailed for $79.99 new. R & L Electronics bought out the last of them from
Kenwood and are closing them out at $19.99 plus shipping. I just got one for
$23.95 after shipping.
