[Kenwood] TM-731a

I have a TM-731a with a very intermittent volume pot. Is it possible to
get deoxit inside the pot, or should I replace it altogether? It appears
to just be a solid piece of plastic with no holes get the stuff inside
to clean the wiper.

Also, does anyone know the part number for the balance slider on this
rig? Not the pot itself, but the piece of plastic that fits over it and
slides inside the faceplate?
