I have always heard that the SDX is the one to get if you are in the market for a 950.

The main difference between the S and SD is the DSP unit. If the DSP unit
is installed, there will be a few cables with flat connectors coming out and
plugging back into the back of the rig. The SDX is a completely different
rig with integrated DSP and will say SDX on the front plate. I have had an
SD and an 850 and the 950SD blows the 850 away on receive.

Hi All,

One ham in my area is selling his TS950S serial number 10400144. I actualy
have a TS850S with which i'm more than happy ! :) On top cover, is written
TS950S Digital... Any difference ?

What are the differences between the TS950 - TS950S and TS950SDX ? Would
it be a good idea to buy this TS950S (realy cheap) ?
I'm mostly active during contests.

73, Patrick
