[Kenwood] service menu settings

Tim,
That is similar to saying you need to know the exact pot and variable capacitor values for each trim component for a radio. They are made variable to account for the total component variations when a radio is put together. The only way to get the "right" values back is to have the radio fully realigned or simply to write down each value and try to make the rig work by tweaking each value until it works correctly (dangerous unless you are skilled and have the right test equipment).

If you want to know what each service menu item changes, look here:

If you think the values were goofed up by someone, the safe bet would be to have it realigned by a Kenwood repair person and then write the numbers down when you get your rig back and put the numbers on a sheet of paper and tape it to the inside of the top cover. I would suspect a factory alignment shouldn't cost too much and would be well worth it.
