If you have a cable modem, pay the cable company the commercial rate.
Buy a bunch of those $70 2.4gig wireless routers. They can be daisy chained 
and could serve 30-40 computers. Radio shack sells legal booster amps. use good 
slotted array antenna's  You can run up to 3 watts erp lic free.

  See if other hams in your area will do the same thing. In NYC nobody pays 
for broadband. many places are wired for broadband. All over NYC are free 
broadband hubs for laptops.

  if enough hams get together, they can start a lic free MPDS for broadband.
The 1.2gig ISM band allows 2W lic free. Use those to link 2.4gig base staions 
together into a network!!!!!

  A consumer will take the slightly slower FREE 2.4 gig wireless broadband 
over the colon cancer causing BPL broadband. hi hi

  If BPL comes to town, offer wireless broadband for  free. The consumer only 
has to buy a $60 USB 2.4 gig transceiver to get your free broadband feed.
