I would go with 1.8 and 400 filters from Inrad.

250 Hz filters are too narrow to be practical.  Besides, you have slope
tune
to narrow them out.

the YK-88C1 (500 Hz).  Wondering if I should get either the  YG-455C-1

Hz) or the YG-455CN-1 (250 Hz) for the 455 IF.  What are the
advantages?
