[Kenwood] TS-480 frontpanel connection

Hi,

I am looking for information about how the connection between the front panel and the radio on TS-480 works.
Any kind of protocol, levels, interface.

Shematics?

The idea is to use the TS-480 for remote control, but to keep the front panel at home, and to tunnel the data between the front panel and radio via internet.
This has been done for the IC-706.

Can you help?
