[Kenwood] Inherited TS-820S

Have inherited a TS-820S from SK WB4PAV. Problems include:

1) Unstable DG-1
2) No output when mike is keyed. Finals? Or is there something unique to TS-820S? 

I would like to bring this up as a tribute to Don, who was a very dedicated ham.
