[Kenwood] Setting up SM-220 Scope with TS-940SAT

Greetings,

    A while back I purchased a SM-220 to accompany my TS-940SAT.  However, I
hadn't used it much since I have yet to align it properly with the
transceiver.  I gave that a try last night, but ran into trouble.  I was
curious if anyone on the list could give me some pointers.  I don't hear the
marker signal injected into the IF of the radio as noted in the setup
procedure, and I have tried tuning the panadapter to no avail.
Additionally, I was curious about the cables that came with the unit.  I
don't have anything, besides an RCA cable.  What is the cable used to
monitor the RX signal made of?  Finally, I am plugging the panadapter into
IF # 1 jack.  Is that correct for the 940?
