[Kenwood] ACC jack and VOX

John,

I don't think this will work.  I know for a fact that it won't work on
my 870 (and my friend's 570 and 690), so I doubt it will work on the
2000.  VOX only works for audio presented at the MIC connector.  The
nice thing about using the AUX connector for PSK, etc. is that when the
rig is keyed through the PKS line on this plug, the MIC input is muted
during transmit.  This is nice because it means that you don't need to
switch off your mic when using the aux input audio (i.e. your PSK
contacts won't "hear" you typing, HI HI).
