[Kenwood] Jumping Twin

You might want to share what bands does it jump in frequency; happens on
CW or SSB (upper or lower); can you hear it in another receiver (or
matching receiver if you have it); have you hung a counter on any of the
oscillator outputs; checked all the voltages coming off the power supply
section to be sure they're still in spec. I would also check all the
screws holding down the boards to be sure of a good ground connection.
Many of these rigs, and also the 520 and 830 series, were notorious for
having the mounting screws that hold the boards work loose causing an
intermittent connection between board ground and chassis ground. I guess
Kenwood tried to save money by not using star or shakeproof washers on
their mounting hardware.
