Perhaps specific to some production runs??
My 820S and 520S have never been opened up...Except to install CW filters
when new.
No problem with loose shafts.

On the subject of these lousy shaft couplers, does anyone have any
suggestions on how to ensure they stay tight on the shafts?

I have to open up my TS-530S at least every couple of months to tighten
the screws on the coupler or it will loosen up enough to go completely
out of whack (that's a pain to try to find proper alignment again).

I'm afraid to crank down too hard on the screws - I don't want to strip
them. Is there anything like Loktite that would work on the coupler?

And Joe - if you find a place that sells the couplers, let me know
please. I might as well buy a few for future use.
