Problem with TS850. I was tuning an antenna on 80M and heard a bang =
from the rear of the radio. As soon as the bang was heard an amount of =
smoke was emitted from the rear of the radio. I was tuning up with 100W =
on CW. Probably went too long (trust me to think that now!)

I immediately ran a few checks. Radio seems to TX to 100W OK, seems to =
RX as it used to. What could this bang and smoke be from?

Covers have not been removed as yet. Wanted to get an idea from the =
experts as it were.

Radio is a TS850 with DSP100.

Regards
