I had that catch me on my old TS-130S (my only HF rig - I'm pretty new
at this). I just figured the S meter wasn't working until 1 day I just
happened to play with the AGC knob...

Thanks for who all gave me some advice on the s-meter problem. I took
the=20
radio in to the store and the service guy and I sat down with it and
played=20
around with the rig so the service guy could see exactly what was wrong.
He asked=20
where the "AGC" button was. So I showed him and he pushed it and turned
it back=20
on. Problem solved! Now I feel stupid, but all hams make mistakes once
in a=20
while hihi. Must have played with the AGC a while back and didnt fully
know=20
what it did.
