[Kenwood] Two Kenwood Questions

Hello.� I'm a new list subscriber with a couple of
kenwood questions.  

I purchased a TS 520SE at a swap meet about a month
ago.  The ham who sold it to me told me "the dog
chewed up the line cord" -- which I have no reason to
doubt.  

Was this rig originally manufactured with a
2-conductor line cord?  (in any event I plan to
install a grounded 3-wire cord as replacement.

Second:  It's possible (again from talking to the
seller) that the finals on this rig may be damaged.
-- When replacing the finals, do I need to obtain a
matched pair? --
