[Kenwood] amp or not to amp

The TS570, for instance, will not operate properly with that much power 
running from the mike.  Thus if you use this particular mike, according to the 
operations manual, just turn the amp off.  I not only turned mine off, I bypassed 
the amp completely and put in a Heil DX element.  Folks say it works fine, and 
comparable with the Goldline.
