[Kenwood] RE: TS-850 "Fine" Tuning?

I don't have the manual in front of me, but my recollection is that there is
a menu item to change the default step rate from 10KHz/rev to 5KHz/rev (or
5K to 1K?).  At the "lower" setting, it wouldn't be much faster than when
"fine" is engaged.  Maybe this is what you're seeing.  You can also try a
full reset (again, without the manual, don't remember the keys to hold
down).

I'm not the original owner.  The manual does mention different rates
depending on how fast you spin it, so I think that feature is standard.
