[Kenwood] The "better" filter for TS-850

Dave,
  Clueless as to which filter you are talking about as you fail to mention
what mode you are interested in and what you are trying to upgrade from.
Regardless of that, my (and others I'm sure) suggestion is to check out the
filters at InRad:
 http://www.qth.com/inrad/
They can provide you with high quality filters for most radios.
