[Kenwood] Help With DiPole Antenna?

There will be much less loss into the roof if the dipole is spaced above
the roof. As the receiver s-meter is logarithmic you might not notice
the different though until you are trying to copy the weakest of DX.

Its good on an inverted V to keep the ends 120 or more degrees apart,
though they have been known to work with sharper included angles in the
plane of the wires. The smaller that angle the sharper the tuning and
the poorer they work.

But either antenna in the air or on the roof works better than no
antenna at all.
