[Kenwood] TS140 question

I've found that noise blankers in general are hit or miss.  Each particular 
design is effective on some types of impulse noise, and not on others.  So, it 
probably isn't possible to predict if the 140/680 will work for you.

That being said...  I had a TS-680 for a while and was very happy with its 
performance, INCLUDING the noise blanker.  When I needed it, it was effective.  
I upgraded from that rig mainly because I wanted more flexible/adjustable RX 
filtering (now run a TS-870).
