[Kenwood] TS140 question

I have found a good deal on a Kenwood TS140/680, and
am wondering about the NB in the unit.  I have heard a
couple of hams state that it is one of the best NB
ever made.  I would like to know if that is your
experience with it. I have quite a bit of line noise
at my QTH, and the NB in my FT100D works great on high
bands with the mini quad, but doesn't do much on the
low bands with the G5RV.  I am seeing if the TS140/680
would make a good low band rig, then.
