I am building a transportable HF setup for my RV using
a TS570. I need to build a dc power cheater cord in order
to power the complete setup and make it removable.
I need to find a manufactures part number (or series type)
or where I can purchase the receptacle (radio end) of the 6 pin
"molex type" connector Kenwood uses in their HF rigs i.e.: TS440,
TS450, TS570 etc. Kenwood will sell me the radio end but it
has a short wire stub already crimped. I need to be able to crimp
my own heavier gauge wire to the receptacle.
Kenwood will not give out the manufacture's info. I know the power
connectors Kenwood uses are made by JST of Japan. I have been
through JST's web site and complete catalogue with no luck. Molex
has their 3191 series connector that looks exactly the same but it is
slightly too large.
Any help would be appreciated.
