Thanks for the link to Kenwood's parts.  I did not know about that source.
But the original problem remains.  Is the Toshiba data sheet correct?  Are
there more than one 'version' of this device?
The price on pacparts.com is rather high, more than twice what RF Parts gets
for the "substitue".  Before I pay that much for the parts I would really
want to get these questions answered.  On the other hand, the 2SC3133 is
inexpensive enough to take a chance on it solving my problem.
