[Kenwood] F6A question

Thinking about getting a Kenwood F6A HT here, and have
a couple of questions about the battery which I hope
list members can answer:

1. Can you charge the battery by itself with the
wallcharger? Or does it have to be attached to the
radio for charging?

2. How long does it take the fully charge the battery?

Anything else good or bad I should know about this HT?
