Unless you have a UPS still running. Depending on the model and what's plugged in to them, they may keep on generating hash for 20 minutes to a few hours. In the USA the ones approved for home use (FCC Type B, perhaps?) are less apt to give you trouble that the ones approved for office use (FCC Type A?). I wasted a perfectly good afternoon a few years ago trying to prove the noise came from my neighbor's place when in truth it was my own TrippLite UPS.
